My Daughter Is 8

Time flies so fast! Imagine my daughter A is 8 today!

I can’t believe I was able to get by all these years making ends meet trying hard so much to give my daughter whatever I can so she won’t feel amiss.

A is such a beautiful girl, with long black hair and big dark eyes. She loves me unconditionally and she doesn’t know how to keep grudges.

I’m so lucky to have a daughter like her. She is an angel God gave me to make me a better person. I promise to love her with all my heart and all my life.

Dear A,

I know you can’t read this. But I hope someday you could. I love you so much. I’m sorry mommy is not so good at understanding your wants and needs. I’m sorry mommy can’t read your thoughts. But I hope you can feel how much care for you and that I will never ever leave your side no matter what.

I’m sorry I’m putting you through all the training you have to go to so you can understand me and the rest of the world. I hope you learn my ways and my language well. I know you can because you are a very special person. Don’t worry mommy is trying her best to learn your ways and language too so that one day we can talk eye-to-eye and we can cry and laugh together for the same reasons.
