Another realization from being a single parent, you won’t have someone to surprise you with a breakfast in bed, flowers and chocolates and do the days chores for you and take you to a nice dinner with gifts on the side on your birthdays.
The day will start and end like any regular day, only today you feel a bit more stressed and depressed at the same time because you want to feel like a princess for a day but you can’t.
The saddest part was, nobody greeted you as soon as you wake, not even the people you live with. A doesn’t understand the concept of dates and birthdays, she can’t even tell when is her own birthday. This is understandable and I don’t complain, I only wish there was someone to make me smile on my special day because they remember its my day.
