Keeping A Healthy Hair

No matter how nice your outfit was or how great your make-up is if you don’t have a healthy looking hair to compliment it your look is put to waste.  Our hair makes or breaks our looks that is why it is called our “crowning glory”.

I’m very particular with my hair care.  Using the wrong shampoo or not applying conditioner after bath makes my hair poof .   Some suggest I go to a salon and have this rebond treatment so I don’t need to worry about unruly frizzy hair.   But I am apprehensive of this kind of treatment because a rebond usually involves a lot of chemicals on my hair and I worry that I may suffer from hair loss because of this.  Sure I can use a hair growth shampoo to bring back my old thick hair but then again it will take months or probably years to have it fully recovered.

A rebond doesn’t really make the hair healthier after treatment it makes the hair worst because the hair follicles were stressed and damaged because of the chemicals used in it.   Such is the reason why most suggest you refrain from other hair treatment for a period of time until your hair follicles recover from the damage.

I think the usual hot oil treatment and regular use of hair conditioner is enough to keep the hair healthy.  Less chemicals is always the best way to go with hair care.
