Did you ever wonder why healthcare workers are in demand abroad? Well its because most of the first world countries like in Europe and North and South America, the majority of their population are aging and they need people to take care of them.
This is because of the culture of independence they have and the not-so- close-knit family ties they practice. They need hire people to take care of them instead of relatives taking care of them like what we do here in the Philippines. The innate caring nature of Filipinos is one of the factor why most of the healthcare jobs abroad are being offered to us. Most of our countrymen accept such jobs because of their desire desire to support their families financially because the pay is better there than here.
