Yesterday, I exercised my right to vote. Although I was not confident of the result of our so-called high-tech automated system because the technology is new and the system hasn’t been tried in any way by the Smartmatic, I still voted for the person I think who can help gain the publics trust and foreign investors confidence.
It was a long 3 hours wait for me to have my finger inked and I was hoping to be able to have my ballot feed to the PCOS machine but I wasn’t lucky. I didn’t get that “Congratulations!” I was hoping to get as a consolation to the long wait, sweat and hunger I experienced that day.
The result of the election is quick, partial unofficial result shows that Noynoy Aquino and Jojomar Binay will be the next President and Vice President of the Philippines. The two will balance each other so God Bless our country!
