Desperate Wives

While in  a public transportation the other day, there was this woman, working as a saleslady in a department store, I can tell with the clothes she was wearing, was talking loudly and angrily over her mobile phone to the person on the other line.  From what she was “broadcasting” to all the passengers with her in the public transport, she was talking to the other woman of his husband and angrily telling her to leave her husband or else.

What she was doing, publicly humiliating herself is one of the most desperate situation a married woman could ever face.  Although I understand her anger and her desire to humiliate the other person on the line, it is no use because we can’t see that person and what we see is her the desperate wife.

She even put the other woman on loud speaker so that all of us could hear what was she saying.  If I don’t know any better I would have grabbed the fone and scold the b with an itch on the other line.  What the wife was doing to her is something she deserves.

But if my logical self would prevail and I was in this situation, I’d gather all evidence against my husbands philandering and file an annulment, since divorce is not yet an option here in the Philippines, and demand for a monthly financial support for our kids which includes insurance quotes to make sure my kids future will be secured.

I’m really thankful I’m not married because I can easily dispatch a two-timing boyfriend in a breeze.
