In one of the events I attended, there was a portion where one was dared to have a tattoo and win a new net book and this girl bravely comes forward and said she can do it. She was given the choice to choose the tattoo she want and with so many designs, lovely and colorful designs she could have chosen, she picked a barcode design. She said its she was trying to make a statement. She didn’t elaborate what kinda statement she said but she said it was kinda political. Which made me think what statement is she trying to prove?
From what I know a barcode is something that can be found in any items that can be bought in the supermarket. Its like a serial number containing the product description and amount of the product. When an item with a barcode is swiped on a barcode scanner you will see the product description and the price of the item. With this known use of a barcode is she trying to say she can be bought at a certain price?
If you would have a tattoo on you what design would you like? Me, definitely not a barcode. Hehe.
