Weddings makes me sad and happy at the same time. Happy because a couple in love is very serious about their commitment about each other that they are making the vow not just among themselves but share it with the rest of the world. Sad because it makes me realize how I wanted a wedding of my own and have my special someone to do that binding ceremony with me.
But like I said, I am disillusioned with with weddings. To me they are nothing but a social event to gather all friends and relatives and give them personalized gifts for attending your big day and think about their own relationship status .
Weddings make me wish I made the wise choice with my past relationship and choose someone who is capable to give me the wedding I want and dreamed of since childhood.
I used to tell this friend who had a wedding I dreamed of that its not the wedding but the marriage but who am I kidding, I think a wedding is still important psychologically and socially but not financially unless you get filthy rich wedding sponsors.
