I saw this movie in theaters for an advanced screening but I heard you can download it already with very crisp copy. Those who doesn’t get movie screening invites like me can do that because movie is expensive lately hah!

Anyway, it was an amazingly nice artsy fartsy type of action thriller film that I’ve seen so far. Love the shots and the editing. Never a dull moment. The girl who played the role of Hanna was really good, it was the first time I saw her ever.

The theme of the movie albeit not brand new the approach was different which is nice. It was something about DNA alterations, kinda Bioidentical Hormone Replacement to make someone a perfect assassin.

Eric Bana and Cate Blanchet was also in the movie and they portrayed their role very well.

I saw a couple photos about the tsunami that hit Japan today and it was so scary. I’m glad that somehow Japan is well prepared for such disaster like earthquake but I think they were caught a little off-guard about the tsunami.

Imagine how many lives were taken and how many livelihoods were devastated. I even saw a number of cars that were ready to be shipped but were swept away like toy cars by the tsunami. I have no idea how the manufacturer will get back his investment, maybe its time for him to look at this car insurance blog to see his options out there.

I have a friend who lives in Tokyo and she said the aftershocks of the 8.8 magnitude earthquake is non-stop. I hope the quake stops and no additional casualties anymore.

As of this writing there were 200-300 bodies found in Japan already. Sad. Please pray for Japan and the world.

If I was the judge at Russell Brand’s case I wouldn’t jail or even fine him because he was just doing his job as a boyfriend.

Brand is Katy Perry’s fiancée and was charged with battery because he pushed a rude paparazzi who tried to take photos of Perry’s skirt while waking towards the Los Angeles National Airport.

Perry was not disappointed with what happened despite not being able to make it to their flight and later posted on her Twitter page, “If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me.”

Now that’s a boyfriend. I bet he would also change Perry’s furnace filters to make sure she’s all safe and sound. Luv it!

I wonder, how protective your husbands/boyfriends are of you?

The news just came out, the fare for the fastest public transport we have in Metro Manila will go up by 400 percent! The usual Php14.00 maximum fare one way will become Php44.00 by October so a round trip would cause each passenger Php88.00!

I hope our government will do something about this because a regular employee couldn’t afford such amount for transportation alone. Personally, I won’t ride the MRT anymore if this happens.

If I compute all the expenses I will incur if I commute and use the MRT it will be more practical to get me my own car with a cheap auto insurance than pay a huge amount for a public transport that gets subsidy from the government.

What do you think about the impending increase in the MRT fare?

This is one of my pet peeves. A dress code is a dress code. Isn’t it too hard to understand simple dress codes on events and work.

When someone tells you you should wear business suit, office attire, or come-as-you-are how come some people doesn’t seem to understand it and go against what was told?

Can’t they understand the dress code that they wear something else or are they attention seekers attention hogs who wants to be the center of attention.

I was watching a video of a U.S. employee who was allegedly fired because she dress too sexy for work. Is violating the dress code at work a reasonable ground to fire an employee? I guess so, if she was told several time and even got paper warning for it but refuses to follow then that’s a ground for termination, if she can’t follow simple office rules what more on other matter.

Just my two cents.

I read a shocking article earlier and its about the high toxic chemicals that were found in whales that can only be found in remote Oceans of the world. High levels of cadmium, aluminum, chromium, lead, silver, mercury and titanium were said to be found in their tissues. All these are metal toxics that are highly dangerous to the marine life and even to humans who live on seafood.

Although asbestos was not found in the substance found in the whale sampled the effects of the toxic substance found will have similar effect to humans like having a cancer called Mesothelioma .

Mesothelioma is a cancer caused by asbestos and can effect the body’s vital organs including the lungs, abdomen and the reproductive organs.

Its only here in the Philippines that they require janitors to at least finished 2nd year in college or at least high school graduate, all because the years we allot to finish our studies is too short compared to others that its same level as the senior high school graduate in the U.S.

In the U.S. as long as you pass the SAT you can do anything you want go to college or get a job, its that easy! That is why students need a sat prep to make sure they pass and live independently if you do.

If smokes have the right to do what they want with their bodies, non-smokers like me have the right for clean fresh air. Seriously what part of the ‘No Smoking’ sign and ‘No Smoking’ in public places does these smokers don’t understand?

I wish our law enforcers here are as strict as those in Hong Kong where smoking in public places is strictly enforced and followed and if ever someone wants to smoke they should go the the enclosed smoking areas. Yes! their smoking areas are enclosed so only the smokers can have the taste of their own smoke and not affect the non-smokers around them. What a clever idea, right?

I’m not sure if this electronic cigarette is as clever as this enclosed smoking area, I haven’t seen anyone smoke these things in person. But a friend does and he said its better because it doesn’t have any nicotine in it and will just give the same sensation as the real one.

I hope smokers consider this switch because if not I will shove to their face the Tobacco Regulation Act or Republic Act 9211.

I once was a girl who dreamed of wearing that immaculate white dress as I walk down the isle embellished with flowers to the man I love and will love for the rest of my life. I dreamed of an elaborate wedding with all the works, doves, fireworks, bubbles, smoke machine, first dance, champagne toast and a wedding singer to sing all our love songs. But I have never imagined having a wedding as elaborate and as gay as the one Stanford and Anthony had in Sex and the City 2. I really think it was over-the-top, is that how gays imagine their wedding? Hooboy!

All the men were wearing tuxedos including Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) because she was the best man the counterpart of the maid of honor in a straight wedding. The wedding ceremony venue / wedding reception was turned into a super snow white hall with swans swimming in a mini river. But that’s not the best/worst part of the wedding, it was the wedding officiator who turned to be the entertainer for the wedding afterwards. I like Liza Mineli’s version of ‘Single Ladies’ though. Whoever imagined being wed by Liza Mineli but the writer of SATC 2?
